La cattedrale sorge sulla cima di un colle con il prospetto principale affacciato su una piazzetta irregolare. Il sagrato, lastricato in pietra lavica, è recintato da un cancello di ferro, opera del foriano Aniello Balsofiore. La facciata è affiancata da due campanili culminanti a pera. La parte centrale è coronata da un timpano poggiante su due ordini di paraste. Vivacizzano il prospetto due decorazioni di mattonelle di ceramica colorata: il pannello centrale raffigurante S. Vito del 1881 e l'orologio del campanile di sinistra. La facciata laterale, a differenza della principale, non ha subito importanti modifiche. Nella parte inferiore, in corrispondenza delle cappelle della navata laterale, si aprono tre piccole finestre ad angoli arrotondati; al di sotto di quella centrale si trova il portale d'ingresso secondario, in pietra grigia, simile a quello di S. Gaetano.

Giardini La Mortella.“La Mortella” is the splendid garden, now open to the public, created by Susana Walton, the Argentinian wife of Sir William Walton. In the garden there are collections of plants originating from different countries, such as tree ferns from the Austral continent, Proteas and Aloes from South Africa, Yuccas and Agaves from Mexico, and then Magnolias, Bauhinias, Palms, Cycads .... In Neapolitan dialect "Mortella" is the name of the "divine myrtle" or Myrtus communis. This plant sprouts in great abundance among the rocks .... Three concert seasons take place during the year: chamber music recitals in Spring and Autumn, every Saturday and Sunday in the Sala Recite; in Summer the Festival for youth orchestras, with symphonic music concerts, on Thursday evenings in the Greek Theater ....

Lacco Ameno is the smaller municipality of the island of Ischia, where in the VIII century B.C. Greek sailors arrived and conquered Monte Vico founding the city of Pithecusae, the built up area more ancient of the island and the first colony of the Magna Graecia. Many archeological findings are hosted in Museo Santa Restituta where we find Greek, Roman and Byzantine findings, like cinerary urns, tombstones, funerary furnishes, old coins that in Villa Arbusto, the civic archeological museum of Pithecusae hosting more that 3000 findings. Panza (talvolta, anche Panza d'Ischia) è una frazione di circa 7.000 abitanti nel comune di Forio.
Panza si trova all'interno del territorio del comune di Forio, sull'isola d'Ischia in provincia di Napoli.
Comprende la contrada Cuotto ed altri nuclei abitativi. I suoi confini furono definiti con censimento comunale nel 1871 e con un secondo del 1881 dal quale risulta:- che la frazione Panza è limitata a levante dai confini di Serrara Fontana, a mezzogiorno ed a ponente dal mare ed a settentrione dalle vie: Carano, Chiena, Piellero e del Corbaro.
- che la frazione è divisa in due sezioni: la prima detta san Leonardo, comprende la piazza, località san Gennaro, Casa Polito, Casa Caruso, Casa Mattera, Casa Battaglia, Casa Fiorentino; la seconda le case sparse in via: Campestre, Bocca, Citara, Montecorvo, Costa, Telegrafo, Campotese.
La frazione si estende all'interno del territorio di Forio per circa 6 km², occupando quindi circa la metà dell'intero territorio comunale di circa 13 km². Il centro abitativo del paese dista da Forio circa 5 km. Percorrendo la vecchia mulattiera il confine col capoluogo, in via Chiena, è segnato da un'edicola votiva dedicata al santo protettore di Forio, mentre percorrendo la moderna strada carrabile, il confine può esser collocato a circa 2 km dal Becco d'Aquila, un grande masso tufaceo verde, che ricorda il mitico uccello. Ad est invece Panza confina con il nucleo abitativo di Succhivo, posto oggi nel comune di Serrara Fontana.

Nel 1946 arriva a Ischia il duca Luigi Silvestro Camerini: umanista e grande viaggiatore è alla ricerca di un luogo dove fondare un parco in cui esprimere la grande passione per la botanica.
Aveva già soggiornato lungamente a Capri e poi a Ponza, confinato per motivi politici. L'incanto del posto e la somiglianza con la baia di Negombo, da lui ammirata a Ceylon, fanno cadere la scelta sulla baia di San Montano. Dopo aver accorpato in un’unica proprietà tutta la baia (furono necessari più di cinquanta contratti di compravendita) iniziò la sua trasformazione da palude a parco lussureggiante.

Piazza Marina, nei pressi del porto è il cuore di Casamicciola Terme. Adiacente al porto molto ben sviluppato, il secondo dell'isola, ha frequenti collegamenti di traghetti ed aliscafi con la terraferma. Sul lungo ed esteso molo, che invita alle passeggiate, soprattutto in estate, c'è molta animazione. Numerosi yacht e barche a vela fanno sosta in questo porto ben attrezzato.

Villa Arbusto, so called from the toponym of the locality documented since the 1600s, is situated in an enchanting panoramic position on the hill overlooking Piazza S. Restituta, facing the promontory of Monte di Vico, the site of the acropolis of Pithecusae, while a few steps behind the park is the 8th century metallurgical district. B.C. in Mazzola.
The Masseria dell'Arbusto was purchased in 1785 by Don Carlo Aquaviva, Duke of Atri, of an ancient noble family from Abruzzo, who built a country Casino there, the current villa with a large rear garden in which they were located, and still exist , a smaller building for guests, a chapel, a "stove" for the therapeutic use of the hot fumaroles that arise there, a large cistern for collecting rainwater, the "swimming pool" which, in addition to supplying water of the complex, feeds the basin of a graceful fountain.
The villa is depicted in a colored etching drawn by Rev. Cooper Willyams, chaplain of a ship in Horace Nelson's fleet, and contained in his volume "A voyage up the Mediterranean", published in London in 1802.
When the Aquaviva male line died in 1805, the villa passed into other hands and for a good part of the last century it was in the possession of the Biondi family, of Neapolitan origin who moved to Forio d'Ischia, who often lodged guests of rank there.
Several other owners then changed, until in 1952 it was bought by the well-known publisher and film producer Angelo Rizzoli sen. who fell in love with Lacco Ameno, with the reconstruction of the famous thermal baths, the construction of the Regina Isabella, Sporting and Reginella hotels and the arrangement of Piazza S. Restituta, radically transformed the physiognomy of the town.
Due to its new use, the appearance of the eighteenth-century villa has remained unchanged, while inside, with the demolition of the superstructures added by Rizzoli to make it a luxurious private residence, the original layout of the rooms has been restored.
